Washington, DC has put taxpayers in the banking business, the insurance business and the automobile business. Now they have their eyes on a government takeover of the health care system.

Imagine it: the same people who were in charge of responding to Hurricane Katrina could soon be making health care decisions for you - with your tax dollars. That makes about as much sense as sending Air Force I to New York City for a photo-op.

The politicians in Washington are mortgaging our country's future to pay for big government schemes. If we don't act now to stop them, there's no telling how far they'll go - or how ruinous the economic ramifications will be.

NH Steward will let the New Hampshire Congressional Delegation know that enough is enough. It's time for common-sense, Granite State principles in Washington and a smaller government that lets businesses and taxpayers thrive.
